Paul Pedroncelli (a.k.a. Paul Pedro) was born in a small remote village just east of Sri Lanka as a bastard child.  After a long journey to America, he landed in the Heavens Gates compound.   After refusing to cut off his nads, he was kicked out of the cult and decided join a group of hippies in search of world piece.  He started playing drums in the hippie camp, however that did not last long.  One morning he was found prancing around the camp singing Barry Manilow’s “Copacabana” with black leather pants that were way too tight!   After being kicked out of yet another group, Pedro toured with a group of swimsuit models across the country as their oil boy.  Rumor has it that Jim Carrey turned down the job and Paul Pedro was given the opportunity!  Finally his luck had changed!  Since the job of oiling up models only took 2 hours a day, Paul used the other 10 to practice drums.  This led him to finding his true home with ZOOM.  Before ZOOM, Pedro toyed with other local original bands, such as Saving Echo, Tao Jones, Soul Merchants and the female fronted pop band Bek PhillipsWhen asked in a recent interview “what is the craziest thing you’ve ever done”, he shrugged his shoulders and said, “whatever dude.”  Pedro uses only the finest musical equipment, which consists of shiny toy drums.  During his early years he would daydream about his favorite band The Police while throwing back a Stella, which remains his drink of choice to this very day.  Although not a big shot drinker he has been known to throw back, “whatever, if it’s free.”  While not on tour with ZOOM you can find Pedro at the local pub or watching his favorite show GLEE.  Have a questions for the man, drop him an email at paul@zoomlive.com.
