Paul Pedroncelli (a.k.a. Paul Pedro) was born in a small remote village just east of Sri Lanka as a bastard child.  After a long journey to America, he landed in da hood.  After attending the School of Rock High School, where he majored in the triangle and tambourine, he went on to further his musical career at the College of Rock, a subset of Consumption University.  As a means to subsidize his passion for music, Pedro found gainful employment in the finance industry where he helps old ladies invest their retirement funds, and suspiciously makes a lot of money “on the side” as he calls it.  Before finding his true home with ZOOM, Pedro toyed with other local original bands, such as Saving Echo, Tao Jones, Soul Merchants and the female fronted pop band Bek PhillipsWhen asked in a recent interview “what is the craziest thing you’ve ever done”, he shrugged his shoulders and said, “whatever dude.”  Pedro uses only the finest musical equipment, which consists of shiny toy drums.  During his early years he would daydream about his favorite band The Police while throwing back a Stella, which remains his drink of choice to this very day.  Although not a big shot drinker he has been known to throw back, “whatever, if it’s free.”  While not on tour with ZOOM you can find Pedro at the local pub or watching his favorite show, 24You can catch Pedro on ZOOM’s Summer 2009 Tour at a city near you!!  Have a questions for the man, drop him an email at paul@zoomlive.com.
